Amanda MaguireMore PostsJust Sittin Around

Today I sat at a STOP SIGN, waiting for the light to turn green. Cars passing by me, honking. I was totally unaware that it was because of me. I sat for quite awhile, I think 2 cars had to go around me. What is that about? I should have been more embarrassed (and attentive), but oh well, it was a nice rest.

  1. Ha ha ha! This actually made my hubby laugh out loud! It sounds like you are suffering from “mommy brain.” :-) Thanks for sharing, it was a good laugh!

  2. Yes! I definitely think our children steal our brain cells. Too Funny.

Hope you have a great week!

  3. This is called sleep depravation!!! I can’t begin to list all of the crazy things that I have done right after each baby was born.

Quite funny. Um, do be careful.

  4. Too funny – definitely suffering from the “ten thousand mile stare” (an indicator for mommy’s tiredness as well as baby’s!). :-)

  5. I’m so glad I’m not alone! And I don’t have a kid for that excuse. But I sat at a green light thinking it was red, it wasn’t red to begin with, green when I got to it. I guess I just thought it should be red!

  6. lol. they just put in a stop light by my house, so the other day on my way to work i forgot about the new light and made a left turn on a red light. lol. thank God there was no other cars, or cops. so i feel your pain. lol
