I’ve been in a fog lately, I don’t know if its still lack of sleep, or all the little things that have been adding up on my plate. You know I signed up, and was going, to my cute pi-yo class, but haven’t been able to go because of all the stuff (good and bad) that has crept up on me during those mornings. I’m just go-go-go lately.
BUT next week everything comes to a head (side note: is that phrase “comes to a head” referring to a zit?).? Either way…here comes THE CONFERENCE!
SOo I am leaving my own personal fog here in sunny 65* California to go to a real fog in -45* Columbus, OH.
I can’t wait to meet some of you and refuel. It’s gonna be GREAT!

I’m Amanda Maguire and I have been “Married to a Youth Pastor” for almost 12 years now. We have 3 kids, Dylan (8) and Molly (6) and Scotty (3). I worked in full-time youth ministry for 4 years, got married and got a “real job”, allowing me to continue to be a volunteer in youth ministry for another 4 years. We started having kids and now I’m just married to the Youth Pastor. I have great friends and a fun life! I have a passion and a calling for wives just like me, married to a Youth Pastor.
I love to write.
I love to do creative activities.
I love to run.
I love to shop.
I love to dine out.
And I would love time to do any of these things more.

Sooo looking forward to it (just not all these last minute details beforehand!) 
I’m going and I’m so excited to get away and to meet you and Kathy.
We are very excited to go, we’ve done Hume Lake’s YP’s conference all these years and are excited to branch out in a huge way! I’m going to join the Married to a Youth Pastor Affinity Group, looking forward to meeting you! We just did this huge remodel and move and it was crazy to say the least with 3 little kids so I’m so looking forward to getting out of my fog too.
P.S. I live in beautiful sunny CA too and I’m going to freeze my tush off, I know it.
By an amazing, unexpected act of God, it looks like I get to come to the conference. I’m definitely taking your track. It’s still a little unbelievable and things may change before then, but as of right now, I plan to see you there!
I didn’t know so many youth pastors wives were going to the conference or I would have signed up. My husband and another youth pastor friend are going for their 3rd time and they love it so much.
Yep, I’ll be there. I was able to go last year and loved it! I’m excited to be able to go again. My husband is actually leading an Affinity Group as well this year. He is SOO excited about it and just the conference in general. It is so refreshing for him.
I’ll be there! This’ll be my first time to go to NYMC, so excited! And I am looking forward to the warmer weather we’ll have. On Friday it’ll be over 30degrees warmer than MN, can’t wait!
We are totally bummed that we won’t be there this year. Not even my husband. He was laid off from our church on New Years so we don’t have the means to attend. Just barely scraping by financially.
