Oh Amanda, I hope some person who has the means in your congregations hears about this and decides to bless your family with an all-expense paid vacation to some awesome spot. I’d like to think if I am someday NOT a pastor’s wife, and in a position of means in a church, those are the things I’d LOVE to do…hang in there…

I thought we were the only ones who can never get a good vacation- even when we really try it never goes the way we want it but wow you guys by far had the worst vacation I have ever heard of! I’m so sorry! I hope everyone gets healthy and happy soon and you guys can have a redo!

Everyone else already said it but, Oh My Word! You poor thing.

Dear Lord, I pray right now that you will wrap your arms around Amanda. She needs YOUR strength and endurance to make it through this extremely rough time. I pray you will be with Jeff and that you will heal his knee completely, Father. You know everything that is going on in their lives, Jesus, and I pray that you will remind them that You are in control despite the circumstances. Also, please help her kids to be extra wonderful during this trying time. I hope they get some meals brought to them, too.

I’m sorry your vacation wasn’t really vacation. For me, I feel like true vacations are so rare that I really want them to be perfect. That makes it doubly hard when there is a wrench thrown into things. I hope Jeff is feeling better soon. You too.

Man, that’s maybe one of the worst vacations I’ve ever heard of. Right next to the Griswalds going to Wally World and friends getting stuck in a hurricane in Mexico.
