Oh the stories I could tell lol. Just recently, for Palm Sunday my 4 yr old son was part of the procession and as they were waving palms around the sanctuary my son blurts out "THIS IS BORING!" but it didnt stop there. An older man leaned over and told him he needed to wave his palm....on the way back around my son hit him with his palm! I wanted to crawl under the pew!!

We have so been there!! A few weeks ago after church my husband told me he found our son outside after church beside a "puddle". When he asked Aiden where the "water" came from, he got the proud response "I did it, Dad!!" It was right on the front entryway of our church, all over the pavement...surely dozens of people witnessed this little annointing, but no one came to tell us. I bet I know what all the families talked about over Sunday lunch though! :-)

One of my sons who shall remain nameless (because he has almost lived down & thankfully outgrown at age 13) went through a "streaking" phase when he was 2.
At a fun fair we were having for the end of our fall program he went into a refrig. box we had set up as a "jail" where for a few pennies you could put the pastor in for a couple minutes to raise money for missions. He snuck in while no one was looking and took off all his clothes so he could swim in the "pick a duck-win a prize" pond conveniently located right next door.
A few weeks later at another friend's church:
We are standing on the platform at the end of service next to their baptismal tank the happens to be a horse trough cleverly disguised. It was full of water because they had a baptism that morning. Well you can guess where the story goes from there...except this time there was no cardboard box for him to hide in so he just proceeded to strip and dive in!
In his defense we did have a large metal tub at home that I would fill with water and let him play in. I suppose in his 2 year old mind it wasn't any different :)

Those of us in SoCal are in the midst of a water shortage. The way I see it, these boys were merely "going green" (while "Going yellow") and saving some of our most precious resources: clean water! Nicely done Dylan - i applaud your efforts.
