Lemonade!! :) Right now life is giving us a bunch of curve balls... stike outs... and being called out when sliding into home plate... but I ahve to remember that even though with all those lemons...we are going to need another straw to finish up all the lemonade we can make!! :) heheh GOD IS AWSOME!! Great confession that totally rings true with me many times. You are so much like me, Amanda, that I empathize with you. Way to be honest with yourself and to be vulnerable enough to share it with others so that we can check our own attitudes. Thanks for being an encouragement to me and for giving me a challenge today. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but those lemons are trying to rear their heads here, too. My hubby just started a new youth/asst. position so I haven't seen him and when I do, we usually discuss what hasn't got unpacked yet. Which somehow reveals all that I haven'te accomplished while he was at work. That makes you feel real successful, let me tell you. I haven't felt good since we've moved here--(Friday last week) so I'd rather take a nap with my daughter than unpack. I know I need to keep trucking on and not dwell on the negatives but look for the positives instead---like the fact that there were four frozen meals in our fridge when we arrived! Or the fact that a trustee happened to come by and mow the lawn for us since we didn't have a mower (lived on the church grounds at the last place and used church equip.). God is good. So glad He gives us second chances...and third and fourth and a hundred more. Wow! Great confession that totally rings true with me many times.
